SUMMER SLENDER POPS

Summer + ice lollies = happiness

Just because you're eating well doesn't mean you have to miss out on a Magnum on a hot summers day! Try these DELICIOUS homemade LOW CALORIE Slender pops, to keep you cool and satisfy your sweet tooth without sabotaging your diet!

For the following recipes you will need ice lolly moulds and popsicle sticks.


Chocolate Mint Protein Popsicles (makes 6 popsicles)

Meat Free Mondays

Ingredients
400ml unsweetened almond milk
4 scoops chocolate mint Slender Blend
1 tbsp honey
6 squares melted dark chocolate
A few mint leaves

Nutritional Info (per popsicle)
Calories (kcal) 65
Fat (g) 2.5
Saturates (g) 1
Carbohydrate (g) 5.7
Sugars (g) 5.1
Fibre (g) 0.5
Protein (g) 5

Method
Add all the ingredients, excluding the dark chocolate, to a blender
Blitz until smooth
Pour the mixture into moulds and leave in the freezer for at least 2 hours (or until frozen)
Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave and leave to cool
Drizzle the dark chocolate over the frozen popsicles
Place back in the freezer for a further 30 minutes for the chocolate to set


Dark Chocolate Biscuit and Blueberry Protein Popsicles (makes 6 popsicles)

Veggie bowl

Ingredients
400ml unsweetened almond milk
4 scoops chocolate Slender Blend
1 tbsp honey
~30 blueberries
6 squares melted dark chocolate
2 crushed biscuits

Method
Add all the ingredients, excluding the dark chocolate and a few of the blueberries, to a blender
Blitz until smooth
Pour the mixture into moulds, add the remaining whole blueberries into the mixture in the moulds
Leave in the freezer for at least 2 hours (or until frozen)
Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave and leave to cool
Drizzle the dark chocolate over the frozen popsicles and crumble the biscuit onto the chocolate
Place back in the freezer for a further 30 minutes for the chocolate to set


Nectarine and Apricot Vegan Protein Popsicles (makes 6 popsicles)

Nectarine & Apricot vegan popsicles

Ingredients
400ml unsweetened almond milk
4 scoops vanilla Vegan Blend
2 tbsp Slender Syrup
2 nectarines
4 apricots

Nutritional Info (per popsicle)

Saturates (g) 0.2
Carbohydrate (g) 5.6
Sugars (g) 5
Fibre (g) 1.4
Protein (g) 5.4

Method
Add all the ingredients to a blender
Blitz until smooth
Pour the mixture into moulds
Leave in the freezer for at least 2 hours (or until frozen)


Coconut & Berry Popsicles (makes about 6 small magnums)

Veggie bowl

Ingredients
500 ml coconut milk
4 scoops vanilla Slender Blend
5 Medjool dates
150g raspberries (preferably fresh)
100g grated coconut or shredded coconut
A few squares of melted dark choc

Nutritional Information (per lolly)
Calories 251
Protein 6g
Carbohydrates 28g
Sugar 22g
Fibre 6g
Fat 14g

Method
In a food processor, combine the dates into a thick paste
Add the coconut milk, shredded coconut and protein powder. Process for 2-3 minutes
Then add the raspberries (it's good if there are still pieces of raspberry in the mixture!)
Pour the mixture into the lolly moulds and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours
In a microwave melt 4-6 squares dark chocolate
Take the popsicles out of the freezer and pour over the melted chocolate, place back into the freezer for a further 30mins to allow the chocolate to set
Enjoy!
